Arctis Nova 5X Review Analysis
Multi-platform setup
The compact USB-C dongle is the key to the Nova 5X’s broad device coverage, spanning consoles, computers, handhelds and mobile devices.
Before buying, confirm your setup has a compatible USB-C connection available, especially if you plan to move the dongle between devices.
Gaming and Bluetooth in one headset
A button press switches between 2.4GHz gaming and Bluetooth 5.3, with the latter available for calls or media.
That makes the headset practical for players who want a route to a phone while gaming, though call quality in noisy or windy surroundings should be checked if it matters to your routine.
Battery for extended sessions
The 60-hour battery rating aims to reduce how often charging interrupts a gaming routine, and the fast-charge feature can provide 6 hours of use in 15 minutes.
Treat those figures as guidance for planning, since actual runtime depends on use and settings.
Controls and audio personalization
The companion app provides 100+ game audio presets, while on-headset controls handle power, mute, volume, ChatMix and wireless switching.
This combination gives players several ways to adjust a session, with the retractable microphone keeping it out of the way when not in use.
